Common Memory Verses
Here are some common memory verses. The majority are in NIV format. Feel free to use them in a variety of contexts-for Sunday School memory, children's clubs, small groups, etc. They are all short and provide an easy way to get started.

Numbers 23:19 - God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

1 John 2:15,16 - For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.
